Woo Hoo! A plethora of Mulder and Scully images hit the web showing them hard at work:

Scully's mouth looks very seductive.

The following photo caused a stir of excitement amongst my friend and fellow X-phile Kate.

Kate: look at mulder's left hand....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Hillary: I see it to!EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Kate: I know! however,as I continue to surf the interweb, i read that those shots areposed, and that David Duchovny and Tea Leone have tattoos of rings intead ofactual bands. How Pam and Tommy...So thats actually his tattoo and has nothing to do with the movie. Blarg.

Hillary: Dammit. When you sent me the shot I started jumping up and down and then I remembered that I am 23 years old.

It's because I created a 'blog' isn't it

Well, I went to the trouble of creating a blog to bitch and moan about the state of X-Files 2 leaks, or lack thereof, and then this hits the web - and by 'hit' I mean a little side-bar diversion, link-thingie on CHUD.

Dammit, I am excited though. You know what has concerned me the most since the joyous announcement of the birth of a new movie - the state of Gillian Anderson's hair colour. Anderson has been a blond since the end of the show, I honestly expected for her to be blond here. It would have made perfect sense; they are on the lam; she would need a disguise!

Like the last set of photos, this one reveals more of the plot mechanics than I expect Christ Carter or the Fox publicity wizzes would have wanted:

Mulder drags Scully to some quarded off/ forbidden/ restricted access/ military base/ facility/ FBI headquarters/ hallway in Vancouver for her skeptical/ scientic/ medical opinion - which he will mostly disregard anyways. As they are leaving -or entering?- Scully tells him he is crazy because of this, that and that other thing. Mulder pretends he is listening by leaning in close to hear her voice but actually to sniff her hair - which smells like strawberries.

I love Scully's coat.

Is this all the truth we get?

Ho Hum. It has been more than a month since photos from the set of the new X-Files movie, currently filming in Vancouver appeared on the web.





A picture is worth a thousand words but, in this case, it is worth the entire first act of the movie:

Lemme guess - Mulder approaches some lady agent, played by Amanda Peet, and tells her some crazy-ass story that, the nerve of her, she does not believe but lo-and-behold, something happens that requires Mulder and Agent Peet to run like hell and, more or less, proves Mulder right. Amanda Peet (and rapper Xzibit who, judging from the other photos I have seen, looks good in a suit) would be crazy not to follow him (and hopefully Scully) now!

Somehow Gillian Anderson and Billy Connolly and Callum Keith Rennie fit into all of this. Maybe their photos will turn up later.
